About

We opened Prawn on the Lawn Padstow in 2015, 2 years after we opened our London site. We change our small plates menu every day (sometimes hourly!) and local fisherman land fish right to our door. We won Best UK Seafood Restaurant and we have been featured in the Michelin Guide every year since we opened.

Our suppliers

Ross Padstow Kitchen Garden

Ross supplies us with veg, salad and herbs that he grows on his family's farm less than a mile from Padstow.

Padstow
Caron & Des Padstow Brewing Company

A husband and wife team, they first started brewing in 2013 in a converted surf shower. Now their custom-built microbrewery sits on the outskirts of Padstow and they have two tasting rooms in town where you can try their award winning beers.

Padstow
Johnny Murt Murt's Shellfish

Johnny's a fifth-generation Padstow fisherman supplying the freshest crab and lobster from his day boat PW7. Look out for him popping into the restaurant in his oil skins.

Padstow
Tim Porthilly Shellfish

Supplies us with local oysters from his farm in Porthilly, Rock. Look across the Camel estuary and you'll be able to see the oyster beds.

Rock
George George Cleave Fishmongers

George sources amazing fish for us for the day boat market in Newlyn and other local fisherman and delivers straight to our door everyday.

Port Issac
Liz & Engin Trevibban Mill

Enjoying idyllic surroundings a short drive from Padstow, the couple founded this award-winning organic vineyard in 2008. Native Southdown sheep graze in their vineyard.

The Wave Project

We are proud to support the Wave Project, a charity that uses the power of the ocean and surfing to help improve the emotional and psychological well-being of young people in the UK. Providing them with a supportive environment where they can build resilience, confidence, and positive relationships.

To support the charity’s important work, we are adding a discretionary £1 donation to every restaurant bill to raise funds. With these funds, the Wave Project can continue to offer life-changing support to those who need it most, helping young people to overcome their challenges and reach their full potential.
